Wedding guest list template

A CSV that opens in Excel and Google Sheets, with the columns that actually matter - and sample rows you can overwrite.

What columns does a wedding guest list need?

A working wedding guest list needs at least: name, household, side, contact, RSVP status, dietary needs and plus-one. The household column matters most - guests who live together get one invitation and sit together.

A Hungarian wedding typically has 80-120 guests; keeping the list in one shared place avoids the version chaos of emailed spreadsheets.

What each column is for

NameOne row per guest, children too - the headcount drives catering and seating.
HouseholdGuests who live together get one invitation and sit together - name the household the same way in each row.
SideBride, groom or mutual - useful for the seating chart and for splitting follow-up calls.
RSVPPending, accepted or declined. Update it in one place and the headcount stays honest.
DietaryAllergies and diets - the caterer will ask for this list, so collect it as RSVPs come in.
Plus oneWhether the guest may bring a partner - decide it up front to avoid awkward calls later.

When the list outgrows the spreadsheet: in your free account the guest list, dietary tracking and seating live in one place. And on the paid plans the import wizard reads any column layout - you do not have to match this template.
