A week before the wedding you discover that a hundred printed place cards cost more than you wanted to spend, and the designer is fully booked. This module is for that moment. It is not a design program - it is a printable sheet generated from data you have already entered. Guest names come from the guest list, table names from the seating chart, the running order from the timeline, the menu from your guest page. The typefaces and colours are the same ones your guest page uses, so the printed and the digital side speak one language.
What it can do
Six card types
Place cards, table numbers, menu cards, invitations, thank-you cards and schedule cards. Each selector button shows how many would be produced: one place card per guest, one table number per table.
Nothing gets typed twice
A place card carries the guest name with their table underneath, taken from the seating chart. Guests who have no seat yet say so on the card, which turns the print run into a last check of your seating.
Styled by your guest page
Theme, monogram, date format and the decorative divider all come from your guest page settings. You set them once and the printed material follows automatically.
Your own wording on invitations and thank-you cards
For these two you can write your own sentence or start from one of three ready-made ones. The preview updates while you type, so you see whether the text fits before you save it.
Sheets sized for A4
Place cards are 90 x 55 mm and eight fit on a sheet; every other card is 92 x 130 mm, four to a sheet. The page tells you how many sheets you need, and printing puts only the cards on paper, never the interface.
How to use it

Set up your guest page first
The cards take their theme, monogram and date format from there. If you have no guest page yet, the module sends you over - picking a theme is enough to get started.

Pick a card type
Choose one of the six buttons. Each shows a count, and when something has no data yet the module tells you where to add it: the guest list, the seating chart, the timeline, or the menu field on your guest page.

Write your own wording
Invitations and thank-you cards get a text field. On the invitation your sentence sits under your names and above the date and venue; on the thank-you card it sits above your names. Saved text stays, and one button puts the default sentence back.

Check the preview
The bottom of the page shows the real cards with real content, at their real proportions. This is where you notice that a name runs too long or that the menu has more lines than will fit.

Print
The Print button opens your browser's print dialog. Paper size is A4 with a 10 mm margin, and only the cards reach the paper - the tabs, buttons and text fields do not.
Pro tips
Only print place cards once the seating chart is finished. Guests without a table get a Seat to be assigned line, which is useful as a check but not something to put in front of a guest.
Name your tables in the seating chart the way a guest would read them. If the name already contains the word table, the card will not repeat the prefix.
The foot of the invitation carries your published guest page address, so guests can type it in. If the page is not published yet, the couple code appears there instead - so publish before you print.
Do not let the browser shrink the page in the print dialog. The sizes are specified in millimetres, so the cards only come out at their intended size at 100 per cent scale.
When cutting, use the thin border as your guide - it marks the exact edge of the card. On heavier paper a guillotine or a craft knife beats scissors, which tend to wander off the line.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to type the guest names in again for the cards?
No. Place cards are generated from your guest list, the table comes from the seating chart, the schedule card from your timeline, and the menu card from the menu you entered on your guest page.
How many cards fit on one A4 sheet?
Eight place cards (90 x 55 mm), or four of any other type (92 x 130 mm). The page also shows the number of sheets required, so you know how much paper to buy before you start.
Can I change the typeface or the colours of the cards?
Not separately. The cards deliberately use your guest page theme so the printed and digital material do not drift apart. Switch the theme on the guest page and the cards follow.
Can I save the cards as a PDF?
The Print button opens your browser's own print dialog, where you can choose Save as PDF instead of a printer. That file is what you would send to a print shop.
How long can my own wording be?
Up to 600 characters, though in practice you want far less: more than three lines on a card already feels crowded. The preview updates as you type, so you can see what fits before saving.
