The Guest Management module is your central hub for every person attending your wedding. From the initial invite list to final seating assignments, every detail lives in one structured, searchable space.

RSVP tracking
See at a glance who has confirmed, declined, or not responded yet. Filter and sort by status.
Dietary restrictions
Record meal preferences and allergies for each guest so catering has everything they need.
Plus-one management
Add plus-one names and track whether they are confirmed - important for catering headcounts.
Seating integration
Assign guests to tables directly from the guest list. Unassigned guests are highlighted automatically.
Guest sides
Tag each guest as bride-side, groom-side, or mutual. Useful for seating balance and venue logistics.
Conflict detection
Mark guests who should not sit near each other. The seating optimizer uses this data automatically.
How to use it

Add your first guest
Click 'Add guest', enter the first and last name, and choose their side (bride, groom, or both). You can import in bulk later.

Set RSVP status
As responses come in, update each guest to Confirmed, Declined, or leave as Pending. The dashboard counter updates in real time.

Fill in dietary needs
Open any guest card and add dietary restrictions or allergy notes. This feeds directly into your catering export.

Add plus-ones
Toggle the plus-one switch and enter the partner's name if known. The headcount totals update automatically.

Assign to tables
Once your seating plan is ready, link each guest to a table from this screen or from the Seating module.
Pro tips
Use the 'Bride / Groom / Both' tags from the start - the seating optimizer balances sides automatically when you generate a plan.
Export the guest list to CSV before your catering meeting: it includes dietary restrictions and headcounts by table.
Mark conflict pairs early. Even two or three 'should not sit together' flags give the AI seating optimizer much better results.
Filter by 'Pending' a week before your RSVP deadline to quickly see who you still need to follow up with.
Frequently asked questions
How many guests can I add?
There is no hard cap. The app handles lists of 300+ guests comfortably. For very large weddings (500+), the seating optimizer may take a few extra seconds.
Can I import guests from a spreadsheet?
Bulk import from CSV is on the roadmap. Currently you add guests one at a time or use the AI suggestions in the seating module.
Can guests update their own RSVP?
Yes - you can share a public RSVP link (via Settings > Share) so guests can confirm directly. Their response updates in your dashboard instantly.
What happens to a guest's data if I delete them?
Deleting a guest removes them from the list and their seating assignment. Vendor and budget data is not affected.
Is guest data private?
Yes. Guest data is tied to your account and protected by row-level security. It is never shared unless you explicitly create a share link with guest permission enabled.
