Share & Collaborate - Shareable Wedding Links for Family and Vendors

Create private share links for your wedding. Control exactly which sections each person can see.

The Share feature lets you create private links for different audiences. A link for family shows guests and the timeline. A link for your venue coordinator shows just the seating chart. No one needs an account - they simply open the link and see exactly what you have chosen to share.

What it can do

Per-section permissions

Each share link has independent toggles for Vendors, Guests, Seating, Budget, and Gift Registry. Mix and match for each audience.

Multiple links

Create as many links as you need. One for parents, one for your venue, one for the bridal party - each with different permissions.

No account required for viewers

Anyone with the link can view the permitted sections immediately. They do not need to register or log in.

Gift Registry claiming

Share links with Gift Registry enabled let guests browse the registry and claim gifts or contribute to cash funds directly.

RSVP collection

Guests can update their RSVP status via the share link. Their response updates instantly in your dashboard.

Link labels

Name each link so you know who has what. 'Parents', 'Venue Coordinator', 'Bridal Party' - labels are for your reference only.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Go to Settings

Navigate to Settings and scroll to the Share Links section. This is where all your links are managed.

  2. 2

    Create a new link

Click 'Create link', give it a label (e.g. 'For parents'), and select which sections to enable. Click Create.

  3. 3

    Copy and send the link

Click 'Copy link' on the new link card. Paste it into WhatsApp, email, or wherever your recipient will access it.

  4. 4

Toggle permissions as your planning evolves

Click any permission badge on an existing link to toggle it. Changes take effect immediately for anyone opening the link.

  5. 5

Delete links you no longer need

Links can be deleted at any time. Anyone trying to open a deleted link will see an error. Useful after the wedding is over.

Pro tips

  • Create a 'Full access' link for your wedding planner with all sections enabled. Create a 'Guests' link with only what guests need to see.

  • Enable Gift Registry only on the link you send to guests. Keep it off links you send to vendors who do not need to see it.

  • You can send the same link to everyone or create unique links per group. Unique links make it easier to revoke access for specific people if needed.

  • The wedding countdown, partner names, and wedding date are visible on all share links. Make sure those details are correct in Settings first.

Frequently asked questions

Are share links password protected?

No. Anyone with the link URL can view the permitted sections. Do not share links on public social media. Send them privately.

Can viewers edit anything via the share link?

Most sections are read-only for viewers. Exceptions: guests can update their own RSVP, and the Gift Registry allows claiming. No one can change your planning data.

Can I see who has opened my share link?

Currently no. View tracking is on the roadmap. For now, assume anyone you sent the link to may have viewed it.

What happens if I change a permission after sending the link?

Changes take effect immediately. If you disable a section, viewers will no longer see that section the next time they open the link - even from the same URL.

Can I set an expiry date on a share link?

Link expiry is on the roadmap. Currently links remain active until you delete them.
