Wedding Moodboard - Visual Inspiration for Your Wedding Style

Collect venue photos, decor ideas, and styling inspiration. Organize by category and share with vendors.

The Moodboard module is your digital inspiration board. Collect photos from anywhere on the internet, organize them by category, add color and style notes, and share the complete picture with your vendors so everyone has the same visual reference.

What it can do

Category-based organization

Sort images into categories: venue, flowers & decor, attire, cake, table settings, invitations, photo style, and more.

URL image pinning

Save any image from the web by pasting its URL. Instagram, Pinterest, venue websites - if it has an image URL, it can go on your board.

Color tags

Tag each image with your color palette. Quickly see which colors appear most across your inspiration so you can define your palette.

Notes per image

Add a note to any image: 'Love the lighting here', 'Want this exact centerpiece but in white'. Your vendors will thank you.

Vendor sharing

Share your moodboard link with your florist, decorator, and photographer so they understand your vision before any meeting.

Room assignment

Assign inspiration images to specific rooms (ceremony, reception) so vendors understand context.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Find an image you love

Browse Pinterest, Instagram, venue websites, or anywhere online. Right-click the image and copy its URL.

  2. 2

    Add it to your board

Click 'Add image', paste the URL, choose a category, and optionally add color tags and a note.

  3. 3

    Organize by category

Use the category filter to view just your venue inspiration, or just your floral ideas. You can reorder and reassign at any time.

  4. 4

    Add color and style notes

For each image, tag the colors that appear (rose gold, ivory, sage green). Over time, your palette becomes clear.

  5. 5

    Share with vendors

In Settings, enable Moodboard access on a share link. Send that link to your florist and photographer before your briefing meeting.

Pro tips

  • Start your moodboard before you have booked anything. Seeing 30-40 images side by side reveals your style far faster than trying to describe it in words.

  • Save images that show the feeling or atmosphere you want, not just specific elements. The vibe matters as much as the details.

  • Share your board with your partner first and note which images you both react to strongly. Consensus images are the ones to brief vendors on.

  • Add notes that explain what you love about each image - 'the candlelight, not the colour scheme'. This prevents vendors from over-literal interpretations.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upload my own photos?

Currently the moodboard works with image URLs from the web. Direct photo upload is on the roadmap.

What if an image URL stops working?

If the source website removes the image, it will show a broken image placeholder. Save important images to Pinterest or Google Photos as a backup.

Can my vendors edit the moodboard?

No. Share links are read-only. Only the couple (the account owner) can add or remove images.

How many images can I add?

No limit. Large boards (100+ images) may load slightly slower on the share link for guests on slow connections.

Can I organize by room as well as category?

Yes. Each image can be assigned both a category (flowers) and a room (reception). Use room filtering to create venue-specific visual briefs.
